Attendees will engage in a dynamic exchange of information related to the topics of outdoor environments for acute care facilities and facilities serving residents with dementia and their families. Those of various specialties will gather to interactively inspire, teach, network, and collaborate.  All materials generated and presentations made during the day's event will spotlight the above-mentioned garden types.  All that attend will have a vital role in forming the day's agenda:  i.e., paired individuals leading discussion, presenting a project, case study, treatment modalities in gardens, future generations needs, introducing the latest in research and application, etc.  This collaboration will result in a product/publication - a "white paper" - following the close of the day's events.
